What Can I Expect When Selling My Home and Buying a New Home?

** Will I have enough money to buy my new home?

When listing your home you will be provided with a Sellers Proceeds Statement which will estimate your approximate costs of selling and give you an estimated proceeds amount.

** Will I have to move twice? How do I close on my current home and then close on my new home?

There are several options that can be provided in the contract to help ensure you don’t have to move twice. However, you may choose to move twice. Many buyers are selling their homes and opting to wait for the right home to come along. We will talk about your options.

Also, if the other party agrees you can possibly do a rent back or negotiate with the seller of the home you’re buying to close when convenient for you. Every contract is unique and there are many options in this regard.
